Ayurveda’s primary focus is on prevention, motivating people to pay close attention to balance in one’s life, right thinking, diet, and lifestyle choices. Connecting to the healing science allows us to understand how to create balance of body, mind, and consciousness. The first step is to understand one’s constitution, and from there, you can make lifestyle changes to bring about and maintain this balance.

Mindful Coach + Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher
Rose Barkley is a certified 300+ hour experience registered yoga teacher who specializes in trauma-informed + ayurveda yoga. She is a mindful coach who connects others to their soul purpose. Rose is drawn to these practices as a means of expressing and releasing the feelings that overwhelmed her body throughout adolescence. The act of openly expressing movement has helped her reconnect to a purposeful life, as well as inspire that in others. Rose has spent the last 5 years servicing youth in the schools throughout Los Angeles and San Francisco. She has been trained with programs like the Art of Yoga Project, leading mindfulness, art and yoga for marginalized teens and women in rehabilitation centers. One of her many callings is working with at-risk youth, community centers, and marginalized teens. Currently, she teaches, creates and lives in Los Angeles.
